• What do you do that sets you apart from the average REALTOR® in our area?
Please don’t quote company statistics - show me what you personally do to promote and market your listings.
• What can I do to improve the marketability of my home?
I welcome honest feedback that will help position my home more competitively.
• What is the biggest drawback to my home?
Please be candid about any potential buyer objections so I know what to expect.
• Do you think a buyer incentive would benefit my home?
If so, what type of incentive would you recommend and why?
When interviewing agents, aim to select someone who not only performs the traditional 5 P’s, but also incorporates a variety of proactive marketing strategies such as:
Installing a brochure or information box on the yard sign
Using QR codes on sign riders and advertisements
Promoting listings on Facebook and other social media platforms
Creating professional, color-highlight brochures for showings
Utilizing strong internet marketing and SEO strategies
Featuring listings through local cable TV advertising
Implementing direct mail campaigns
Personal advertising that extends beyond company marketing
Adding interior highlight cards to draw attention to key features
Installing an “800” information sign rider on the yard sign
Providing a personal brochure and/or professional resume
Hosting broker caravan tours with lunch or raffles to increase agent exposure
Puts a “For Sale” sign in your yard
