Be a constant in the life of a child who has been abused, abandoned or neglected. We are looking for people who have a passion for children and want to help the court system determine the best interests of a child. An legal education is not required, a want to make a difference to a child is. We ask our volunteers, to be 21 years of age or older, to have 2-3 hours per week (8-10 hours per month) available to volunteer, be able to attend court 2-3 times per year and commit for the life of the case. We supply the training and a support system for those who wish to enjoy a flexible volunteer schedule. To be an advocate, contact the Child Advocate Recruiter at (239) 533-1435 updated 1/10/2022
