Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and everyone is already looking forward to the fantastic food. Before we get to eating, there’s one thing to take care of before the feast begins: Cleaning the house. It’s a daunting task, but we have some tips to make sure you get your house spotless, and ready for guests.
Don’t wait until the day of
It may sound silly, but its important to get the cleaning done early. The last thing you want to do on the day of is running around cleaning every square inch in your home. Instead, clean as much as you can the days prior, so that you don’t have as much to do the day of. That way, you can clear out any smaller messes you may see, and focus on making the food
Take one room at a time
It easy to feel overwhelmed by everything, no matter how big your house is. Its important to not let that get to you. instead, make a list of each room, and go through and clean each room one by one. Once you finish cleaning each room, simply move on to the next. This way you can keep yourself organized, while also making progress and preventing yourself from getting distracted!
Don’t forget the Outside too
While the inside of your home is important, you also want to make sure you clean the outside too. Be sure to clean the outside of your windows when cleaning them on the outside. If need be, you can also scrub any dirt stains, or other kinds from the side of your house if they look noticeable. Lastly, You can move any tools and supplies into a shed or your garage to clear up the yard.
